YBD offers a variety of classes and hosts regular FREE groups. You can choose from knitting, crocheting, spinning, and weaving classes held every month. Ask about 1-to-1 instruction for students of any age - even as young as five years old!
Call to register for any of the great classes we offer; pre-registration is required. Optimal class size is 2 to 4 students. Most classes do not include materials; however, supplies purchased for YBD classes are 10% off. Group classes cost $10.00 per class-hour. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.

Home Knit/Crochet Classes: We also offer classes where one or two YBD Instructors come to your home and teach you and your friends to knit or crochet - a wonderful way to share your passion of the fiber arts!

Kids Knitting/Crochet:
Bring a Friend for $5.00 off!
Kids can knit and crochet, too! Meet new friends and learn the knit & purl stitch and how to cast on and bind off. Homeschoolers and children 6 years+ (tying their shoes) welcome!
Level: All Skill Levels
1.5 hours : on-going
Materials: Worsted or bulky weight yarn, matching needles 10 inches long, or as short as possible, size 8US and up. Light colored yarn is best because it is easier to see stitches. DO NOT choose fuzzy/novelty yarn for a first project.

CHILDREN'S SUMMER CAMPS:
July 25th - 29th: 9-12pm - YBD will be hosting a fiber arts summer camp for children ages 9-12 years (children under 9 years with knitting experience can attend). Pre-register before June 1st and receive $5 OFF. Register with a friend and your names will be added to a drawing.
